The Philippine Society of Clinical and Occupational Toxicology successfully held its 8th Annual Convention last November 8-9, 2007 at the G Hotel, Roxas Blvd., Manila. With the theme "Toxic Threats in the 21st Century," local experts in the field of toxicology shared their know-how with an appreciative audience of physicians, nurses, and allied medical professionals.
Highlights of the convention included presentations on current position statements on the management of poisoning, interactive sessions, and discussions on emerging poisons and issues in toxicology.
